1st Century Faith Today began in 2014 as a blog for preaching school students Hiram Kemp and Forest Antemesaris. Forest and Hiram were interested in the plea of pre-denominational Christianity and sought to create a blog reflecting that same plea. Thus 1st Century Faith Today was born.

The goal of the site is to provide God’s people with engaging, relevant, and biblically honest content. We do so with blogs, our print periodical, The Proclaimerand with our various series’ like Book By Book. We hope that through these articles you will grow closer to God and love Him even more.

The faith of Christianity was delivered, established, and made final in the 1st century. This blog is dedicated to the same faith, church, and Lord that we read about in the Holy Scriptures. Our goal is to answer the call of Jude to “contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). The body of faith that this blog seeks to explain and apply in modern terms was not founded by a medieval creed, nor did it develop through councils and traditions over time. It was delivered to mankind in the 1st century and is still preserved in the pages of inspiration. Join us as we discuss this 1st century faith, today.
